Tips for the Essential Do’s and Don’ts of Flyer Design

Running a business is about letting people know about your service or products. if you are not getting your message out then digital or printed flyers could be the answer.

Effective publicity print needs some flyer design thought before you rush off to the nearest and cheapest high street or on line printer. How do you fill that blank piece of a5 that is going to be your colourful print flyers?

Well, it’s a mixture between being informative and creative. You want your printed flyer to be eye catching but not drowning in graphic design so that people miss the elementary yet, oh so vital, bits: who, where, what you are and when is the event, promotion or opening time.

Having decided that flyer distribution offers the best showcase for this, the creative concept now has to do the ‘selling’ part. at the same time, you need to keep it simple.

What is the message you want to put across? Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Yet so many businesses approach flyer design in a random way without thinking about that magic word: focus.

Without this simple step, it’s easy to lose hundreds, thousands, millions or billions of potential customers.

What is it about your event that will make people want to come? what are the unique selling points (USPs) of your new product or special offer? what do you offer that your competitor doesn’t?

Think carefully about wording of your flyer templates because consumers tend to be swamped by so many adverts from flyer posters and printed stuff, it’s easy to ignore it all. what particular aspect or item is it you are trying to promote? How can this be made eye catching, different, worth a second look in your business flyers?

Another golden rule: less is more. Avoid the temptation to cram every detail into your flyer templates because you are likely to put people off reading anything. if something isn’t a dominant feature of your flyers message: LEAVE it OUT. at worst, put it in small print in a corner of your flyer design and be strict on word count. ask yourself too:

• could you use a suitable image instead?
• Can images sell some aspects better than words?
• what draws your eyes and attention to a printed flyer?

Proof read the flyer several times by several different people. one error in a number or letter could mean a second batch of hundreds, thousands, millions or billions of people not buying into your service, product or event

Why risk it?

Hitting Preview for the 2012 Washington Nationals

If the Washington Nationals are finally going to contend in the NL East they are going to need big things out of the offense. Let’s take a look at who is expected to start and contribute in their lineup.

Starting Lineup

Wilson Ramos (Catcher) – Coming of a solid rookie season, the 24-year-old finished fourth in the NL Rookie of the Year voting. He hit.267 with 15 home runs and 52 RBI in just 113 games last year.

Adam LaRoche (First Base) -LaRoche never really got his season going as the veteran suffered a shoulder injury in spring training that ended his season in May. The Nationals are questioning right now if LaRoche has fully recovered from his injury, because when healthy he has the talent to hit 25 homers and drive in 85+RBI.

Ian Desmond (Shortstop) – The Nationals are hoping that Desmond is the answer on their quest to find their leadoff hitter. As of now though, he is providing more question marks than answers. He hit just.253 with an on-base percentage of.298 last year. He did get better as the season went on, but he still has a lot to prove if he wants to claim the leadoff spot for the Nationals.

Danny Espinosa (Second Base) – Espinosa started out his rookie campaign with a bang when he had 16 home runs before the All-Star break. He however, hit a snag when he ended the season with just a.239 average and 21 home runs.

Ryan Zimmerman (Third Base) – Zimmerman had his season cut short because of a torn abdominal muscle resulting in him playing just 101 games. He would go on to post career-lows in home runs with 12 and RBI with 49. He hit 58 home runs and drove in 191 runs in the previous two seasons so I expect him to bounce back big in 2012.

Michael Morse (Left Field) – Morse got better and better as the season wore on. He hit.289 with 15 home runs and 41 RBI in 98 games in 2010. But in 2011, Morse did even better as he exploded for 31 home runs with 95 RBI and an impressive.303 batting average. now that Zimmerman is coming back healthy and hitting ahead of him, expect Morse to duplicate those numbers in 2012.

Roger Bernadina (Center Field) – Bernadina has the talent and potential to be an everyday player, but he has struggled to put it all together. In 91 games last year he hit an underwhelming.243 with seven homers and 27 RBI. Washington added Mike Cameron as a safety net, but both might just ride the bench if the Nationals decide to bring up the 19-year-old phenom Bryce Harper.

Jason Werth (Right Field) – Werth needs to figure it out if he wants to stay in the Nationals rotation. After hitting.281 with 63 homers and 184 RBI in two seasons with the Phillies, Werth disappointed hitting just.232 with 20 home runs and 58 RBI last year. He has proven that he can provide big numbers, so there is great optimism in the Nationals staff that he can figure in out in 2012.

Scream: It’s Only A Halloween Costume, Or Is It?

Scream: a Celebration of Slashers and Halloween Costumes

The horror film Scream premiered in 1996. the flick features a star studded cast, including Drew Barrymore, Neve Campbell, Rose McGowan, Skeet Ulrich, Courteney Cox, and Matthew Lillard, but Scream was more than run of the mill slasher fare. the plot followed mysterious murderers wearing eerie Halloween costumes, as they stalked high school students. However, the film offered a post modern twist: these characters were not merely pretty faces in fancy dress. They were familiar with the unwritten rules for surviving horror movies. They responded to their stalking killers with intelligence.

Scream avoided the idiot plot failings of similar pictures. instead of one dimensional victims waiting for their turn under the knife, the writing and performances took pains to make these characters feel like actual people trapped in danger. the result was a surprising film that worked on two levels. On the surface, it succeeded as a suspense-filled shocker. Underneath, it played as an effective satire, taking several pointed jabs at the genre’s tropes. the film was a hit at the box office. Unsurprisingly, the signature robe-and-mask outfit was among that year’s most popular costumes for Halloween.

The film’s success was due in no small part to the dynamic team behind the cameras. Direction came from Wes Craven, of a Nightmare on Elm Street fame, while newcomer Kevin Williamson penned the brilliant script.

Scream 2 (1997) once again saw Craven and Williamson united behind the camera. it continued the story at college, skewering both its characters and campus life. Armed with the same witty dialogue and subversive playfulness, this sequel was as smart and scary as the original.

Scream 3, however, was a stumble. Still showcasing Craven’s strong direction, the script (not by Williamson) played up the satire and lost the suspense. Set in Hollywood, it offered a savvy look at filmmaking, but the characters were too wooden to care about. When killings occurred, accompanied by the expected Halloween costumes, they lacked resonance.

Despite the series’ ups and downs, the Scream costume has remained popular among the ever changing catalog of Halloween outfits. it might not be found in fancy dress masquerades; however, more relaxed shindigs often see a Scream costume or two mingling with other classic Halloween outfits.

After an 11 year hiatus, Scream 4 will see release this April. Once more reuniting director Craven with scenarist Williamson, the film promises new twists to old formulae. in the intervening years, horror films have changed, often in response to the Scream series. this fourth film will undoubtedly be more than an advertisement for costumes for Halloween. Fans are speculating what the new franchise installment will be like. with such high expectations, the new film must work hard to find approval.

The Best Draft Picks by the San Diego Chargers

The San Diego Chargers were founded in 1960 and won the AFL title in 1963 before joining the NFL in 1970 due to the AFL-NFL merger. The franchise is yet to win a Super Bowl, but has managed to make the NFL playoffs on 12 occasions. The best players to be drafted by the San Diego Chargers are Junior Seau, Dan Fouts and LaDainian Tomlinson.

No. 3: Junior Seau, LB, (1990 – 2002)

Junior Seau was drafted in the 1990 NFL draft with the 5th overall pick. As a Charger, he was a 10-time All-Pro and selected to a remarkable 12 Pro Bowls, in every season he was a Charger. Seau helped the team to Super Bowl XXIX. he was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1992. Seau became a player who was quickly loved in San Diego and a highly respected player in the league.

No. 2: Dan Fouts, QB, (1973 – 1987)

Dan Fouts was drafted in the 1973 NFL Draft in round 3. he spent all his playing days with the Chargers and will be forever remembered as one of the greatest passers of the 1970s and ’80s. he became the first quarterback to throw for 4,000 or more yards in consecutive seasons and ended his career with over 40,000 passing yards. he led the Chargers to two AFC Championship Games, but lost both. Fouts is a Hall of Famer who was named to the Pro Bowl on six occasions. he lacked mobility but possessed a huge arm, which was a downfield threat on each snap. he was always calm and collected despite the numerous hits he would receive.

No. 1: LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, (2001 – 2009)

LaDainian Tomlinson was drafted 5th overall in the 2001 NFL Draft. The five-time Pro Bowler spent nine seasons with the Chargers and ranks 5th in career rushing yards. The 2006 and 2007 rushing leader has won numerous accolades and broken many records. The 2006 season was especially a noteworthy season for Tomlinson, as he was named AP Offensive Player of the Year and NFL MVP. he rushed for more than 1,000 yards in his first eight seasons as a Charger. his impact was immediate, as he became the fastest player in the NFL to reach 100 touchdowns and fourth-fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 rushing yards.

Ladanian Tomlinson became the Chargers’ most feared weapon, and for good reason, for most of the seasons he was there. his presence alone brought respect not from just teammates but opposing players, and his on-field performance was nothing short of simply amazing. LaDainian Tomlinson is the best player drafted by the San Diego Chargers.

H1N1 – Swine Flu – The Inconvenient Truth

The media blitz about swine flu is overwhelming. every time you read or tune in to any kind of media be it print, online, radio or television we come to very quickly realize that a pathogen not visible to the naked eye has taken over our lives, like it or not. Not so long ago, we were concerned we would be hurt or destroyed by the sinister Osama bin Laden and his ominous cadre of destruction. Well it seems those in charge of our welfare were wrong again the massively greater threat was ignored to our mutual undoing. Swine Flu is the real terrorist because right now most of us are more scared of it than we were or could ever be, of Mr. Bin Laden. He never needed to bother with airplanes and dirty bombs; he could have saved a lot of money and just bought a hog farm and done a whole lot more damage. The H1N1 virus is doing what he never could, force people worldwide to live in fear. H1N1 virus and the pork industry with its corporate and government minions, without sending us a single threatening video tape, has done it, and the sad thing is we are paid them to do it Now when we meet strangers it is in the back of all our minds wonder if he/she has it or is a carrier?. With H1N1 virus there is no such thing as safe sex, unlike its distant cousin the HIV virus, it kills quickly. we don’t go to public events without at least privately wondering if the H1N1 virus, will it be there too. every surface we touch away from home, Is it there? we awake with a sore throat, a runny nose, a sneeze, a head cold, a pain, a back ache, or a cough and wonder, do I have it?, will I become a statistic? Well, maybe or maybe not, how can we tell, we most go on living and taking chances.

In the media however we are still agonizingly submerged in stories about were Swine Flu has struck and how many it has killed so far. Then the good news, if you want to call it that, the fact that things are not as bad now as they may become when Flu season finally kicks in, in the fall. Irrational fear no, just irrational inept negligent and down right criminal behavior from the pork industry and the governments involved. we have been told to wash our hands after touching things, to cook pork to 160 degrees, to stay away from live stock shows and locations if pigs are present, to stay away from school or work if there is an outbreak of Swine Flu. we have been told to sanitize surfaces pigs have come in contact with. we have been shown what the virus looks like under a microscope. we have been made aware the genetic characteristics of the H1N1virus. we have been told not to attend gatherings, not to go work or school if we suspect we have Swine Flu. we have been told do not plan trips to Swine Flu hotspots like Mexico.

Savage asks Could this be a terrorist attack through Mexico? Michelle Malkin, Bill O’ Reilly and Neil Boortz agree: [W]hat better way to sneak a virus into this country than give it to Mexicans? When in fact the transporters and the purveyors of Swine Flu are the corporations and governments we trust so unconditionally. Gregg Schmidt, president of international operations for Murphy-Brown LLC, Smithfield’s hog production subsidiary, does not appear to be of Mexican ancestry. The trick that is being used in the media is to put terrorism and Immigration together with H1N1 virus to punish a minority group of color that is not responsible for H1N1 virus but merely has direct relation to the Mexicans in Mexico. The great majority of all Mexicans in Mexico are just victims of corporate and governmental neglect conspiracy and insatiable greed, just like us The pig meat produced on those filthy hog farms in Mexico was meant for the table of the American consumer because money and plenty of it was and is involved. Most Mexicans were never asked if this is what they wanted and those that were asked didn’t have many alternatives by which to earn a living so they accepted by default. Oh, I get it now; if one is poor it is easy to be demonized in the media by people who are not use to living with poverty. The pork industry and their puppets want to change the name of the Swine Flu to the Mexican Flu, such a change would accomplish two things 1. To break the association between pork and the Swine Flu 2.to blame the victims for something they never had control of, however the change has not caught on because the American public is not as stupid as the pork industry had assumed.

Pork sales are down the American consumer is fighting back by voting with their wallets and choosing not to buy pork or buying a lot less. never the less there is ample work to be done to totally sever the umbilical cords of pork industry propaganda and mental conditioning. Pig products and meat are certainly cheaper for people with limited financial means. The American consumer has been conditioned by the pork industry for many years to consume pigs based on taste. Of course the pig is often portrayed as being a cute cuddly and harmless icon of American life. The fact is we must all wake up from our conditioned slumber on this issue and realize no matter how many rerun episodes of Green Acres portray Arnold the pig as a benign lovable comic character, it will never expunge the fact that pork is infected with deadly dangerous pathogens, H1N1 virus is killing people. Bend the truth as they might, the pork industry has been and is involved in the obvious cover up of the fact that hogs have been infected with these pathogens for years and they did not stop selling the contaminated hog flesh to the uninformed unsuspecting consumer since at least 1930.If this were not so then why have they spent millions and millions on antibiotics and antiviral used in pig feed. The greatest threats originate from within and something must be done to correct this situation, late is better than never. The media for obvious reasons prefers to show pictures of the pig culls in Egypt and berate the Egyptians for their cruelty to animals, when we all know if given the choice between the lives and health of our own families or having hog farms there is no contest. Hogs, pigs, swine are not worth one human life not now not ever Let’s cut through media created hype and get to the point. we can never stop H1N1 virus with useless words and weak attempts at prevention when we have no resolve or intention to do the hard work of dismantling the pork industry which is harboring the toxic H1N1 virus.

A Trading Plan for Covered Calls

As many investors know, there are strategies for selling covered calls in any market scenario – up, sideways or down. If the stock is trending up and the markets are correlating, then selling further out-of-the-money to let the stock run works. If the stock is flat and sideways, then selling at or near-the-money calls will increase premium and take advantage of the lack of volatility in the markets. If the market is trending slightly down, then deeper in the money calls will provide some extra downside protection. And, if the market is falling – just get out of the way

The bane of all covered call writers is when the stock runs up hard and fast and you either have to surrender the stock at the lower price, missing all those juicy gains, or buy back the call and a lot higher price. this happens and it’s just a fact of investing IF you have a trading plan.

What is Your Trading Plan?

In article after article, many authors lament lost gains if the stock runs up as the main reason why selling covered calls is not advisable. in fact, years ago I even had my broker tell me I was ill advised to sell covered calls because of how much I would lose if the stock shot up. My comment was why didn’t he give me a list today so I could buy them, write calls and lose all that extra money since nothing he was recommending was making a dime Anyway, he is not my broker anymore.

It all comes down to having a trading plan, written by you and not someone else that defines precisely what to do in these situations. a trading plan makes the actions mechanical and not emotional. If this happens then you do that. Period. My current trading plan dictates that when I sell a covered call, if the call premium erodes by 50% or better, I sell and take the profits. when the stock rebounds, I may sell the exact strike again and repeat the process.

Some could say this is leaving money on the table if the stock stays flat and never recovers and I would be better off letting them expire. this has happened. What works for me, and the reason why I put it in the plan, is to take the profits and wait for the rebound since I like volatile stocks like Amazon, Bidu, Las Vegas Sands, Netflix, etc. Often, these dips and rebounds happen in the same week

On the other front, if the stock has news and starts to run, my plan has two alternatives. First, if the stock is not a core holding and I have written it for the week or month for premium, then before I even put on the trade, I calculated my target profit and decided it was acceptable. If I am called out, then so be it; my target met, profit is in the bank and my plan is complete.

On core holdings that I do not want exercised and have rolled up into higher strikes month after month my trading plan says to buy back the calls when a major resistance point has been broken with volume. the plan is to just get out of the way and let the stock run. there is always a danger that a stock could have a big gap up and you may be called out and there is nothing you can do. this happened recently with Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) that spiked up $18 overnight on the news of a joint venture with Star Bucks. That’s’ life.

When a stock falls my plan dictates to exit if the stock breaks a major resistance point, selling the stock and buying back the greatly reduced call. On core holdings, I have long-dated puts on them to protect to the downside, so I let the puts do their work and reenter at a later day as the stock starts to rebound.

Trading plans for covered calls need to be specific and measurable. As you gain experience and have more trades under your belt, you will be making regular modifications to the plan to account for new types of trades, scenarios and market conditions.

Those Voices You Hear in Your Head Might Be Hazing

Hazing, (my term) is the place where people who are developing their abilities as mediums just begin vibrating high enough to connect with the spirit world. unfortunately, the first spirits that can be connected to are the ones who vibrate at the lowest frequency, and they are usually disruptive, negative, mischievous and annoying if not downright mean and hateful. they seek to confuse a person and keep them running around in circles in their head. they will tell you to hurt yourself or others, or that you are nothing, or that people don’t love you and actually hate you when you thought they loved you. their only purpose is to be ugly to you. they are angry and confused, and want you to be the same.

Think of a thermometer, and at the bottom is zero. Let’s say that that is the average frequency of the internal vibrations or electrical measure of most people who do not hear voices. as mediumship develops, a person who can hear the first voices, the negative ones, might be at 10 vibration, and that negative communications pick-up (think of it as radio waves) may last till you get to about 30 as there are many different kinds within this range. then after that you get to the benevolent spirits, usually in your ancestral line as they are easier to hear first, that might be from 31 to 45, and then spirit guides, from 46 to 55, and Angels, from 56 to 65, and other beings, all the way up to God at say 90 or so. if you think of it this way, you are just moving up the scale. But you have to move, or you stay stuck in the lower vibratory communications and then are afraid, frustrated, angry (which lowers your vibrations) and all other manner of systems that don’t help your cause of getting out of where you are. Usually, the medication won’t stop the voices either, so they you have an added issue of taking a chance and going off of them because they don’t work, which is not good, or always being drugged and the effects of that on your body, and STILL hearing voices, and that is just not pleasant

My mother stayed there most of her life. When the abilities began with me and the negative voices started, I knew her example was not one I wanted to follow, and researched and began many hours of prayer. I do mean many, for a couple of years, but I learned a lot, and enough to help you find a shortcut to some of what I learned. let me say at this point, I have never been diagnosed as having any mental illness because I don’t, and it doesn’t affect my life adversely after I got through hazing. And I am monitored by three psychologists, all of whom I now work with their clients because after years of watching me, they are developing different views of this.

If you elevate your vibrations, and that can happen through non-begging prayer (that means no help me Jesus, please just make it go away, help me, help me — as that is a prayer of desperation — which connects you to desperate spirits) meditation, yoga, concentrated thought, or whatever system you might find and use, with prayer being the highest because you are seeking to move outside of yourself to connect to a more powerful energy system in God/Divine Architect/Creator, then your results are faster and more positive. once you do that, the negative voices CANNOT reach you anymore because you operate on a higher frequency than they can reach, and you are then talking to a whole new group of folks. It is possible.

When you reach this point, you have control and access to all manner of information that only has usually come in snatches before, usually starting in childhood. if you were a child with premonitions that were inconsistent, then you are more than likely not schizophrenic, but a medium in training. you just have to learn how to get control. That is not all people in this category, of course, but that is some.

If you can say the following prayer consistently – like 3 times a day for at least a month, really trying to understand what it means, even if you don’t in the beginning, and the voices go away, seem confused (remember that these are not just arbitrary voices, but actual spirit beings that you are communicating with — this is the hard part because it takes rearranging the way you may have thought the world was organized), or are less hostile or you hear them less often, then you are probably a hazer. never stop the prayer. It is like a control device to keep your vibrations high. as a medium, you will need such devices because of your vibratory differences. Bear in mind, that in the beginning, possibly for the first two weeks, they may get more hostile because they know you have gotten a system that might work, and that they won’t be able to make your life miserable much longer, but they can’t sustain the vibratory changes for long, so they will leave. Couple this with burning a candle for your Guardian Angel/Spirit/Guide (does not matter what your faith is – somebody is keeping track of you – - trust m on this for the moment) and you may see major changes. if you do, it is likely that schizophrenia might not be what is happening but mediumship is. But this is tricky.

DON’T go off of medication if you are on it. the changes will override the medication and you will need less of it as time goes on. Stay under the supervision of your medical practitioner, but do these things and things will generally change over time. Expect, that if you are diligent, you will feel quite different in about 6 to 8 months, a small price to pay if you’ve had years of this going on.

I also suggest that you find a Sukyo Mahi Kari dojo and go to receive light regularly. they have them all over the world and they are free, with only service requested, and/or a small donation if you have it. if not, no problem. I’ve worked with several clients now to separate these things and make the situation clearer. It doesn’t matter if you believe it or not at first. what do you have to lose if the voices are making your life miserable. if you simply get out of your own ego and try it, you are likely to see changes. It is this element though, I will say, that is the hardest for people to work past if they are resistant. your choice, but you do have a choice.

Remember, and this is KEY Self-involvement, self-pity, anger and frustration will keep you in this perpetual state because they are automatic vibration lowering devices. you will remain a hamster in a wheel unless you work to break this cycle, and that is what the vibration raisers mentioned before will do. It is not as hard as it might seem, in fact it is simple, but requires consistency and getting out of your ego. That is what the Hindu prayer will help you do. Say it even if you don’t understand it, and one day, it will almost magically kick in and you will get what it is really about

Here is the prayer below. think of hazing like getting through the hazing phase of a fraternity. if you get through it, there is a lot of wonderful stuff on the other side

Have done with pride and arrogance, conceit, envy, self-assertion;
practice humility, obedience; worship the Creator.

When a man has abandoned false pride, arrogance and vainglory,

When he has become humble and meek, then does he find true bliss.

Prince and beggar alike must die: not one survives.

Him do thou call living who has died and yet lives.

My enemy I is dead: now none can smite me down.

‘Tis I who slay myself: thus, being dead, I live.

We have slain our enemy, we have died; but he is not forgotten.

The thorn remains to vex us. Consider and lay this truth to heart.

Then only wilt thou find the Beloved when thou art as the living dead;

Only by losing thyself canst thou find him who knoweth all.

Then wilt thou find the Beloved when thou esteemeth thyself as nothing;

Recognize therefore by quiet reflection whence the thought of self arises.

Becoming as the living dead, come thou into the way,

First lay down thy head, then mayest thou venture to plant thy foot.

Know that the way of discipleship is exceeding hard;

The living dead walk in it, the Name of Rama their sign.

So difficult is the way, no living man can tread it;

He only can walk in it, O foolish one, who has died and lives.

Only he who is dead can tread the way that leads to Niranjana;

He finds the Beloved, and leaps the fearsome gulf.

He that is alive shall die: only by dying inwardly shall he meet the Lord;

Forsaking his fellowship who can endure when trouble comes?

O when will this dominion of self pass away? When will the heart forget every other?

When will it be wholly refined? When will it find its true home?

When I am not, then there is one; when I intrude, then two.

When the curtain of I and you is drawn aside, then do I become ever as I was.

This prayer is found in the the book Every Eye Beholds you – A world treasury of Prayer with interfaith prayers from all over the world, edited by Thomas J. Craughwell. It is essential if you are going to make this journey of elevation, even if you are schizophrenic or bi-polar fully, and not just in hazing.

Who Will Win the Stanley Cup in 2012?

Let’s start with who we expect to get through the first round of the playoffs:

Vancouver
Detroit
Los Angeles
Chicago
Washington
Pittsburgh
Boston
Montreal

We wouldn’t be surprised if the Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues break through the first round, and we know there are always upsets in the first round. But, this year, we figure there will be enough of a difference between the top and bottom four teams in each division, that we expect the top teams to come out of the first round relatively unscathed. with this said, we’ll stick with the above, which includes a couple of first round upsets from where we expect teams will finish in the regular season.

The Vancouver Canucks are on a mission and the Detroit Red Wings just seems to be headed in the right direction, so we’re picking them to win the second round in the West. Chicago could make to the second round as could the Kings. Heck, even Anaheim could make it, but no matter how things go, we expect Vancouver will have the top seed throughout the West playoffs, and we expect them to win in the first two rounds.

In the East, we’re picking the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins to make it through the second round. Sidney Crosby’s return will make a big difference for the Penguins, and as with the Canucks, we think the Capitals will be on a mission this year.

It’s awfully hard to repeat a Stanley Cup win nowadays, and the Boston Bruins are just not a team that separates itself from the other 5 or 6 top teams, so we see them bowing out in the playoffs, maybe in the first round, but more than likely in the second round. Montreal could make it to the Final-Two in the East, which would make for a really exciting series, but they would need to get really hot, something that they may not be up to this year.

As for our Stanley Cup matchup, we’re pegging the Washington Capitals and Vancouver Canucks – two teams that have won conferences and played well in recent regular seasons, but haven’t come away with the big prize. Fans of both teams expect them to be in the finals, and anything other than a Stanley Cup from either team will be a disappoint for their respective fans.

Washington is a bit older and will soon begin regressing in quality to slip back into the pack, so we expect their players will have the most motivation and drive to win now. So, we’re predicting that the Washington Capitals will win the Stanley Cup in 2012. But, just so it’s clear where we think things are trending, we have no problem in predicting that the Vancouver Canucks will win it all in 2013

Eat Fruit To Cure Acne

Eat fruit to cure and prevent acne

Eating fruit is a very effective way to prevent or cure acne.

As you may know fruit is not only very tasty but also healthy.
The best fruit you can eat to prevent acne is fruit with an orange or red skin.

I think you now already that a balanced diet is very important when it comes to cure acne.
Below you can find seven kinds of fruit that are very effective.

And they have more benefits related to health than just preventing acne.

Apples

Eat at least two apples a day they are very effective to clean your skin.

Be sure that you can eat the skin of the apple because most pectin is in the skin it helps with constipation. if you don’t like apples you can make also a fruit juice from the apples but be sure that you mix the skin also. But even if you have already a perfect skin it’s a good idea to eat a few apples a day it reduces the risk of weight loss, hart diseases and it control cholesterol. or haven’t you heard about the old proverb: An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Bananas

A banana is a kind of a probiotic food – it contains live bacteria – just like onions and artichokes, oats and goat’s milk. Eating probiotic fruit helps you to feed the good bacteria.
In stead of eating you can also take a supplement but I’m sure your prefer to eat a banana.
But don’t eat to much bananas in fact one banana a day is already enough.

Grapes

Grapefruit a sub-tropical citrus tree is a useful source of vitamin c. as you may know vitamin c is a very good vitamin when it comes to skin cleaning. you can also find vitamin c in oranges and in lemons. I have tested this out and they are also excellent to prevent acne.

Strawberries

Strawberries have strong anti acne-activity. Strawberry contains alpha-hydroxy acid it slough of dead skin cells. this way new youthful skin cells are revealed.

Cherries

Personally cherries are my favourite fruit. not only are they purifying the bleed but they also contain a lot of vitamins. Vitamin A, a proven vitamin to cure acne and vitamin C. Did you know that cherries are also helpful for a good night sleep.

Papayas

Papaya native to the tropics of America is an effective ingredient when it comes to skin care.
Eating papayas – which contains enzymes – is a good way to rejuvenating and repairing the skin.

Lemons

This is the last sort of fruit that I will describe here. the most effective way to cure acne with lemons is not by drinking the juice, it’s very better, but to apply lemon juice on your acne spots.

Now you know seven fruit sorts that are effective to prevent or even cure acne. you don’t have any reason know to not try it out. And even if you don’t have acne it won’t hurt your body.

Topps Football Cards – NFL Class of 2006 Topps

2006 Topps Football cards, one of the best classes to come out of the NFL draft, in quite some time.

Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Jay Cutler, D’brickashaw Ferguson, Maurice James-Drew, Brandon Marshall, to name a few. 2006 Topps Chrome Football cards was one of my favorite sports cards to collect that year.

Originally, there was some confusion with the special edition version of Topps Football cards in the packages of 2006 Topps Chrome Football, but eventually people realized that there was a distinction between the two except on the versions of the refractor cards. unfortunately some people were fooled into paying higher amounts for these cards, thinking that perhaps they were a short printed item.

The cards were never numbered, or short printed.

The 2006 Topps Football product was absolutely loaded with rookies, you were able to pick your rookie out and collect with vigor. what a marvelous class the 2006 NFL draft had. Rookies were excelling at high levels, all over the NFL. The Tennessee Titans, won the sweepstakes of the draft by having rookie of the year honors, with Vince Young. Reggie Bush was not far behind in the voting, and did not win but none the less was just as explosive in the NFL in 2006 during his inception to the league, as he was with USC never missing a major beat. Reggie Bush is a proven winner.

Brandon Marshall teamed up with Jay Cutler on the Denver Broncos staff and began to click and are sure to be a formidable tandem for many years to come, especially under the expertise coaching of Mike Shanahan. D’brickashaw Ferguson will be a mainstay on the NY Jets offensive line for many years to come and blocking for Brett Farve won’t be the same than Chad Pennington.

Overall the collation on this product is pretty good, take it from me I busted about 15 boxes of this product and made quite a few sets, and compared to 2006 Football card products from other companies, namely Upper Deck, the boxes give you a higher completion percentage than say Upper Deck SPX. also the cards are much easier to grade, of the 40 or so autographed cards from the set that I have submitted to Beckett and PSA, many of the cards came back mint or better.

The 2006 Topps Chrome Football product also does not chip as easily as the Upper Deck SPX product, which is printed on thicker stock paper. making this a top choice to collect if 2006 is your year for football. there is still much of this product out there and it is fairly inexpensive, compared to some of the other product from 2006. The health issues of Vince Young and Reggie Bush doesn’t help the product, but this is temporary. these high performing athletes, will rebound and you can expect the product to gain interest again. if you are interested in know more about this product feel free to contact me. I will send you any information you need. Collect for fun, collect for money, just collect
